Why Teramachi / Kawaramachi for Pokemon Cards?
Kyoto (京都) may be famous for its temples and traditional culture, but the city also has a thriving card shop scene centered along Teramachi Street and Kawaramachi-dori. These covered shopping arcades in central Kyoto house several dedicated card stores alongside traditional shops and modern retailers.
For tourists visiting Kyoto's famous temples and shrines, the Teramachi/Kawaramachi area offers a perfect pit stop for card hunting. The area is walkable from Kyoto Station and right in the heart of the city's shopping district. Prices can be very competitive compared to Tokyo.
